• The mobile telephony market in Thailand is a cause for concern due to its high level of concentration, with one dominant player consistently holding over 40% market share. This lack of competition not only leads to higher prices for consumers but also compromises the quality of service they receive. This article aims to examine the impact of such market power on pricing and investment trends in Thailand's mobile telecommunications sector from 2005 to 2019.
